Every year Holland´s biggest open-air festival takes place in the city of Landgraaf. PINKPOP is a multi-day event with different stages where (inter)national artists put on spectacular shows. PINKPOP is sold out this year. The reason is that this year the Rolling Stones preform at Pinkpop.
PINKPOP Highlights
The great line-up of musicians that have performed at PINKPOP since it started in 1970 proves how special this festival is. Bruce Springsteen, the Foo Fighters, Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, Pearl Jam, Golden Earring, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many other artists have performed at PINKPOP. Apart from being Holland´s biggest outdoor festival, PINKPOP is also the longest-running pop festival of its kind in the world.

Another great feature of PINKPOP is that the festival area has a camping site that meets your needs and demands as well as those of 50.000 other campers. This makes it possible to dance and enjoy the best concerts while taking a nap in between.

Pinkpop takes place during the Whitsun weekend, on 7, 8 and 9 June 2014. The festival will be held for the 45th time in 2014, a unique record. Since 1990, Pinkpop has been recorded in the Great Guinness Book of Record as the oldest annual pop festival to have been organized, without fail, in the Netherlands (and according to some: in Europe).
Pinkpop is a mutual effort of the organizers and the Limburg village of Landgraaf and its inhabitants. The organizers would like to thank all staff members, volunteers and all service providers for their continuous effort.

The first edition took place on 18 May in 1970 in Geleen, where Pinkpop has been organized 17 times. In 1987 there was a one-time festival in nearby Baarlo, but since 1988 Pinkpop is organized at Megaland, in Landgraaf, where the festival will be held for the 27th time in 2014.
