Actor Robin Williams` ashes scattered in the San Francisco Bay

USPA News - Legendary actor Robin Williams has found his final resting place in the waters of the Pacific Ocean after his ashes were scattered in the San Francisco Bay, his death certificate revealed late on Wednesday as plans emerged for a tribute at the upcoming Emmy Awards. The death certificate from Marin County, where Williams was found dead at his Tiburon home on August 11, showed that the funeral was arranged by Monte`s Chapel Of The Hills.

The actor`s ashes were then scattered in the San Francisco Bay, near his residence, on August 12, just one day after his death. The news came as organizers announced that actor Billy Crystal will pay tribute to Williams in a special In Memoriam segment during the upcoming Emmy Awards, which are scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. EDT on Monday. Executive Producer Don Mischer said the segment will also feature a performance from Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles. Williams, who rose to fame with his role as alien Mork in the TV series `Mork & Mindy,` was found dead at his Tiburon home near San Francisco at 11:55 a.m. on August 11. Investigators said the actor, who struggled with depression, anxiety and the early stages of Parkinson`s Disease, is believed to have committed suicide. "It is our hope in the wake of Robin`s tragic passing, that others will find the strength to seek the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid," his wife, Susan Schneider, said in a statement following his death, adding that she was "utterly heartbroken." The actor`s sudden death, at the age of 63, prompted an outpouring of shock and grief from fans around the world.
